Carla Herrera-Prats: Introduction Remarks
Carla Herrera-Prats completed her MFA in photography at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, and her BFA in Mexico City at National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving, La Esmeralda. She attended the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program in New York. She is currently the Graduate Program Director of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Director of SOMA Summer, an international summer program in Mexico City. Herrera-Prats is co-founder of Camel Collective, a group of artists, writers and filmmakers with whom she has worked since 2005.
